Version 0.07.00 - Side Quests and Bounties!


I'm still making progress into Chapters 2-5 of Trailblazer, getting it ready for full release.  As I've been working on the next leg of the adventure, I've been implementing some of the game systems that will continue to play a part throughout the entire game, but couldn't be fit into the demo because of time and pacing. However, since people have been frequently asking me about my progress and wanting to see more, I figured I would fit some of these systems into the demo. So here it is! V0.7.00 - Side Quest and Bounty Demo. This updated demo also contains balance changes to skills and enemy placements, as well as a number of system updates and bug fixes as well.


Patch Notes:

 - New Opening Credits sequence and Chapter Title Cards
 - New Autosave feature now available in Options
 - 8-directional movement
 - Updated Battle UI
    - Turn Order gauge now in upper-lefthand corner for better ease of reference
    - Battle UI elements will become hidden during cutscenes
 - Updated and Streamlined all Skill Trees to fit a "Theme" appropriate to the weapon
 - Shotguns now improve Resilience when equipped
 - Survival Skill Tree renamed to Hunting
 - Added 2 new Skill Trees, usable by Jean and Jack: Crossroads and Benediction
 - Holy Touch can now be used outside of battle, and is resisted by enemy Conviction
 - Elemental Arrow skills are no longer an attack, and instead buff all Bow attacks
 - Increased bonus damage received from Burning and Stun status effects
 - Added second level to Stun status effect, which causes the character to lose a turn
 - Changed Return to South Pass into a new Side Trek: "The Search for Survivors"
   - Able to save more townspeople
   - Improved Zombie AI in stealth mission portion
 - Bounty Board is now available, along with a demo Bounty Quest. 
 - Jack can now enter the Gem Theater, but only if on Bounty Mission
 - Improved animations for opening Skill Select screen 
 - Updated Cutscene in the No. 10 Saloon to be more chaotic
 - Updated Disarm/Status Effect and Cover Tutorials to better convey information
 - Updated various dialogs throughout to make scenes or NPCs more interesting and to better
   deliver information
 - Added lore to bookcases throughout South Pass and Deadwood
 - Fixed a bug where Pokey Nopey Roachey AI was not triggering properly
 - Fixed a bug where skipping steps in Scourge on the Frontier could cause cutscenes to play out of order
 - Fixed a bug where Conceding during Bloody Bill Duel would result in 2 versions of Jean in posse after winning
 - Fixed a bug where Light Pistol was missing from Sheriff's stash
 - Fixed a bug in Buffalos' graphic
